Contract type: Permanent

Location: Redbridge (Welwyn OMU)

Hours: 35 hours per week

Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (possibly 8am-4pm)

Interview dates: 2nd August

Salary: £17,879 to £18,931 per annum

As this role requires an Enhanced Disclosure check the start date for the successful candidate will only be confirmed upon receipt of the check.

In this role you will provide under guidance for the mental and physical welfare and specialist care of all dogs whilst housed at the Mobility Team site. To provide day to day husbandry of dogs ensuring adherence to national dog care working practices and standard operating procedures.

In your application, you will need to evidence, using specific examples, how your skills and experience meet the criteria laid out in the person specification, within the Job Description below. Requirements include;

·         Proven interpersonal skills in order to communicate effectively with a broad range of internal and external contacts

·         Able to demonstrate aptitude for dog handling

·         Able to demonstrate ability to organise own work priorities within set time frames

·         Understanding of animal care and behaviour
