Location: National Breeding Centre, Leamington; however, applications from other locations will be considered.
Hours: 35 per week

Key information: This role will require frequent travel to Reading and other Guide Dog sites.

Are you passionate about working in all things technology? We’re seeking a self-starter with great communication and influencing skills who can work with our new team to design and develop technology based services for people with sight loss. You will need to have experience with project management and have the ability to work with diverse teams to deliver results.    

Guide Dogs wants every blind or partially sighted person to have the confidence and support they need, but currently, we are only reaching a small percentage of those who could benefit from our services. We aim to reach many more individuals and their families over the next five years, increasing the number of people we help from approximately 200,000 a year to half a million a year.

We will use technology to become more efficient and effective. We will capitalise on technology to provide more lifechanging services and transform the way we interact with, and deliver services to, our customers.

Working as part of our newly formed Skills, Information and Support Services you will manage the development of online digital interactive services from insight evaluation, development and implementation of a pilot up, to the transition into business as usual. You will work alongside our Digital Team in Marketing to ensure new emerging technologies for people with sight loss are considered and developed in service design.

In your application, you will need to evidence, using specific examples, how your skills and experiencemeet the criteria laid out in the person specification, within the Job Description below. Requirements include;

-    Service/product development experience.
-    To be an experienced project manager
-    To hold skills in CX and UX on digital platforms
-    To hold data analysis skills on digital platforms
